Meet Carolyn
Carolyn turns everyday curiosities into adventure. Her stories invite young readers to use their senses, their minds, and their powers of investigation to solve playful puzzles—like figuring out the perfect pet, identifying a mysterious garden visitor, or discovering that the spooky shape following you is really just your shadow. Her stories celebrate observation, problem-solving, and the joy of making sense of the world around us.
Carolyn also creates playful activities aligned with children’s picture books - because, really, what better launchpad for discovery than a problem solving octopus, master of escape and disguise, or an inquisitive goat who figures out what floats and sinks! With every quirky tale and activity, Carolyn hopes to spark curiosity and help kids fall head-over-hooves or tentacles in love with math and science.
In Carolyn’s world, every child is a scientist, every story is an opportunity, and every moment is a chance to explore the magic of math and science.
